Gregory Pototsky’s statue of Jose Rizal

(L-R) Reghis M. Romero ll, KGCR – Acting Supreme Commander of the Knights of Rizal ; Executive Director Ludovico Badoy of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines; world-renowned Russian Sculptor and Painter Gregory Pototsky; Senator Manny B. Villar Founding Chairman of the Villar Foundation, Ambassador Nikolay Kudashev of the Russian Federation to the Philippines, former Las Pinas Representative and Manging Director of the Villar Foundation Cynthia Villar and Atty. Ramonsita Reyes, a descendant of National Hero Rizal.
The bronze sculpture depicts the national hero in a jubilant pose – emphasizing the vibrancy of Jose Rizal’s vision for the Filipino youth and the importance of education in the attainment of Rizal’s goals for the Philippines. It is a fitting landmark at the University Town, to inspire the students to aspire for success and greatness like the national hero.

Initially when I was told that we will be going to a bar I was hesitant.I really thought that I would be old for the bar scene. But I was really surprised the layout of the place really surprised me. It was comfy, csol and cozy. It wasn’t too crowded and best of all it wasn’t filled with smoke.This is what Marriott Hotel Manila wants to bring to their customers.
