I usually dread it when Joshwa gets sick. The guessing game of what medicine to give him and how long should I really wait to bring him to the Emergency Room. I usually observe the average temperature for 3 days and if it doesn’t go down that’s when I drag him plus Yaya Dennis to the doctor.
The last time that Joshwa got sick I decided to avoid the hassle of bringing Joshwa to the Emergency Room. I decided to bring him to the clinic with a laboratory that can do a blood test. I regretted that decision though because we all had a difficult time with the blood extraction and It took a few days to get the results and they wanted to do more tests. By the time they told me that Joshwa was okay and his fever broke already.
I know that bringing him to the Emergency Room is not an easy task because once he gets to the hospital he will throw a major fit and will refuse to go in the Emergency Room. We literally have to carry him and have him sit down and don’t get me started on the blood drawing part. Literally 5 people need hold him down. Yaya Ikakandong sya I need to hold his feet down para walang masipa one will hold his arm and the other one will do the pricking while the other own will hold the arm where the blood is being extracted from.Of course is there an easier way my answer is NO. I wish there really was an easier way to do this.
Despite all that drama and stress I’m really just going to bring him to the Emergency Room para alam na namin agad kung ano yung infection makakadecide kami kung iconfine ba or kaya na gamutin sa bahay.
