Our dear baby Sabine is now 2 months old. Its now past the  newborn phase, and now, in the second month, I’m sure my sister is  starting to get a sense of Sabine’s personality.They will now start learn what makes her  from likes and dislikes, to crying triggers, which at this age are still pretty basic — hunger, sleepiness, and dirty diapers.



Two-month-old babies are gaining more control over their bodies. That means they can hold their head a little steadier while lying on their tummies or being supported upright.  In the second month of life, babies continue to have a strong sucking reflex.They now like to suck on a fist or a few fingers. This is one of the best ways babies have of comforting themselves.

At two months,Sabine can see objects — and people — from up to 18 inches away. She is now starting to be  able to follow movements when people walk close by. Baby’s hearing is improving too. Sabine is now enjoying  listening to the sound of her parents voice.
